The City of Bell’s First-Time Home Buyer Program helps residents achieve the dream of homeownership by providing financial assistance toward the purchase of their first home. The program is designed to make housing more affordable, strengthen neighborhood stability, and invest in the future of Bell’s families.

Program Offers:

  • Down payment and closing cost assistance

  • Low-interest or deferred-payment loan options

  • Homebuyer education and counseling workshops

  • Guidance through the mortgage and purchase process

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a first-time homebuyer

  • Must purchase a home within the City of Bell

  • Household income must meet program income limits

  • Must complete an approved homebuyer education course

  • Must be pre-approved by a lender.
