Business of the Quarter Awards Program

The Quarterly Business Awards Program recognizes businesses in the City of Bell that contribute to the local economy and community. 

The program supports the City’s outreach and ties into the Bell's Small Business Assistance Program, also known as the Business Boost Program. 

Nominations are open to businesses located in the City of Bell that demonstrate excellence, innovation, and a commitment to serving the community.

Award Categories

Businesses may be recognized in one category:

• Business of the Quarter – For strong operations, growth, and community involvement
• Innovation Award – For new or improved products, services, or processes
• Community Impact Award – For service or activities that support the community
• Small Business Excellence Award – For small businesses that show growth and steady service

Eligibility

To qualify for the program, a business must be located in Bell, must have operated for at least one year, must have current licenses and permits, must have no active code enforcement cases, and must show a positive contribution to the local community. Self-nominations and third-party nominations are accepted.

Recognition

Selected businesses receive a certificate or plaque, recognition on the city website and social media, and acknowledgment at a City Council meeting.
